Specialist safety advice and
equipment from Pilz Safe Automation
CONTACT PILZ AUSTRALIA
Pilz invented the safety relay and its world firsts include a programmable
safety system for machinery, an approved safe field bus, the SafetyBUSp and the
recently released PNOZmulti, a freely configurable safety relay.
Today, Pilz Australia, one of 23 Pilz companies worldwide, is Australia’s
number one supplier of safety technology for machines and automation.
Leverage Pilz’s resources for professional development, training, safe control circuit designs, a full range of the famous Pilz PNOZ safety relays (including electronic wear-free versions and the new PNOZ multi configurable relay), plus the equally famous Programmable Safety Systems (failsafe PLC's) and the SafetyBUSp safe field bus. Importantly, the Programmable Safety System, SafetyBUSp and PNOZ multi are all approved to SIL 3 IEC 61508 and EN 954-1 Category 4.
Pilz has also developed a family of
category 4/SIL3 compatible non-contact safety sensors, e-stops and presence
sensing systems to provide complete safety solutions from input to final output.
PNOZ safety relays - Simplicity, flexibility and maximum safety
The PNOZ safety relays are ubiquitous in
industry worldwide and a proven solution for front-line safety challenges.
Pilz developed the first two-hand control
relay, followed by the first emergency stop relay, PNOZ, designed to protect
both operator and machine.
The PNOZmulti series of configurable safety relays has been
approved by TÜV, BG and to SIL 3 IEC 61508 and EN
954-1 Category 4. The series
offers users considerable benefits, particularly saving the laborious process of
wiring individual relays when constructing a safety-related circuit.
A logic-driven safety controller offers optimum safety levels and real flexibility as the plant develops and changes. The Pilz Programmable Safety System (PSS) has extended proven PLC technology to control one or more circuits for safety-related functions. In the past, these circuits have used conventional safety relays. The growing demands on technical safety functions and their increasing complexity make the use of safe electronics both sensible and necessary without compromising reliability. The Pilz PSS conforms to the most stringent standards, including SIL 3 IEC 61508 and EN 954-1 Category 4.
Established bus systems generally do not meet
the requirements of a "safe" network. Safety specialist, Pilz, offers
safe bus systems to SIL 3 IEC 61508 and EN 954-1
Category 4 with the same benefits of conventional
fieldbus systems.
The open protocol of the safe bus system SafetyBUSp p enables
users to incorporate different field modules from other manufacturers and to
network programmable safety systems from the Pilz Programmable safety system
range.
The comprehensive range of Pilz products is only the beginning - take advantage of the expertise of its people and bring together a comprehensive safety solution for your business.
